Kobe Bryant and Four Others Killed in Helicopter Crash
TMZ has reported that NBA legend Kobe Bryant and four others have been killed in a helicopter crash in Calabasas Sunday morning:
“Kobe was traveling with at least 3 other people in his private helicopter when it went down. A fire broke out. Emergency personnel responded, but nobody on board survived. 5 people are confirmed dead. We're told Vanessa Bryant was not among those on board.”
The crash was verified by the LA County Sheriff’s department on Twitter:
Bryant, 41, is survived by his wife Vanessa and his four daughters.

TMZ has reported that one of the five passengers killed in the helicopter crash was Bryant’s 13 year old daughter, Gianna. The helicopter was headed to the Mamba Academy for a basketball practice.
